During that time she cofounded and served as president of the Virginia Women Attorneys’ Association. She played an active role in changing both the divorce and inheritance laws, some of which dated from colonial times. She was among the first three women ever named as a Fellow of the Virginia Bar Association.\r\n\r\nRandy has served on the Board of the Goldwater Institute since 2003 and cofounded the Arizona Free Enterprise Club in 2005. \r\n\r\nRandy is married to Ken Kendrick, Managing General Partner of the Arizona Diamondbacks. They founded the University of Arizona Philosophy of Freedom Center and the Business and Economics Center for Free Enterprise at West Virginia University. She was also instrumental in helping with the creation and funding for the ASU School for Civic and Economic Thought and Leadership. \r\n\r\nRandy served on the Board of the Independent Women’s Forum in the 90’s. She was formerly active with the campaigns of Senator Marco Rubio, with the Koch Freedom Partners network, the Culture of Freedom project of the Philanthropy Roundtable and the Civics Initiative of the Joe Foss Institute. The Civics Initiative passed the requirement that students must pass a civics test to graduate high school in 35 states. She is a now a member of the American Opportunity Alliance. \r\nShe and her husband have focused their charitable activities on children and education. They own Bumble Bee Ranch which encompasses the ghost town of Bumble Bee and which offers western rural experiences for a variety of children’s charities.
