In 1972 Ed started his first active adult community with Sun Lakes and today continues to lead and inspire the company. \r\n\r\nMany honors have been bestowed to Ed recognizing his impressive achievements including the “Ellis Island Medal of Honor,” “Outstanding Business Leader” from Northwood University, “Entrepreneur of the Year Award” from Arizona State University, and most recently, the National Association of Home Builders “Icon of the Industry” award.\r\n\r\nIn addition to running his company, he has also been very active in giving back to the community.
